For some reason FF can not seem to understand that a certain file type is to be opened with a specific program, regardless of the fact that I have checked the box 'always open with this program', and checked into the options to ensure that it is set to open not ask each time. The file type is question is .nzb and I have instructed FF to open with newsleecher, but each time I download a .nzb I'm met with the same dialog box asking me what to do with it. Does anyone know of a workaround for this issue?

Correct me if I am wrong, but downloading a file to a folder and clicking on that file is NOT controlled via FF. At that point, it is the OS.

Try deleting the file association out of the file association list. Then re create it.

Nothing changed. It still prompts me when I grab these files.
