Which is your favourite motherboard of all time?

I've had nothing but trouble with ASUS boards in the past, you might need to say more

I used ASUS boards since ~2003, I never had an issue. I had to RMA one, but that was because of the RAM slots.

I don't really have one to tell you the truth. I've had the best experience with Asus and Asrock. They're basicly the same thing: Asrock is lower end Asus. I've also owned an Abit NV7-S and used it up until recently. For a 12 year old board, it was way ahead of it's time and ran XP/Xubuntu perfectly.

Current one - Asus Sabertooth X79 - built like a tank, was Windows 8 ready well before Windows 8 was released, great thermal management, all on-board features work great in Linux, good uefi implementation, great BIOS's and they are still being released frequently and many ways to upgrade BIOS outside of an OS, has held my overclock flawlessly.

I get that it an "enthusiast" board and platform and it shows, never used a mobo as solid as this before.

ASUS BE6 with a Celeron oc to 450. It was pretty hot at the time. I also still have a DFI Lanparty 939 board with an Opteron.

Thats it!

ABIT BX6 board managed to get a cherry picked Celeron 300A to 600Mhz, I love it when PCs were niche and not every moron had one.

Oops -- I forgot that was an ABIT, not an ASUS. Mine was a BX6, too. It is now sitting in its original box over in the corner! My friend had the ABIT BE6, which wasn't as good as the BX6.

BTW, those of you still using DFI Lanparty Ultra D: Which BIOS are you running?
