~Johnny
This is a game worth seeing with some graphical boosts (Y) This is a game worth seeing even in it's current state. I'm on the fence as to whether I actually like the new graphical style they've gone for either - even just rendering the original graphics in 1080p would have been amazing. Of course, as long as the music is still as amazing as the original, I'll take the new graphics with a grain of salt. For now.

The Cel Shading technique used for WW makes it an ideal candidate for a HD re-release. Just rendering the current GFX in 1080p would probably look awful. n_K
so you looked for specific low priced ones just to prove your point? Look for original boxes systems, they are hundreds of dollars, original boxed mario games go for hundreds of dollars, heck I can't even buy crap games for cheap on eBay in the USA. No, I just searched like normal and picked the first so many I saw. There's a prototype zelda NES game on ebay for ?50K or so, doesn't mean anyone will pay that for it though. Plus why would you want an original boxed system, what does the official box give you that's worth so much ?

Just rendering the current GFX in 1080p would probably look awful. I thought it would have looked pretty good just rendered in 1080p. However having just had a quick go on the Dolphin emulator everything looks pretty bad unless your right next to it, due to the draw distance. Massively increase that and the game really wouldn't look like it was 10 years old, close up objects look great to me. Of course the HD remake looks a lot better from what i have seen, a lot of detail looks to have been added.
TheLegendOfMart
Looks better if you configure dolphin properly. jerzdawg 1 Share
compl3x
It's worthwhile to point out that the Dolphin Emu isn't the WiiU
SkyDX
It's worthwhile to point out that the Dolphin Emu isn't the WiiU Sure but properly programmed the Wii U shouldn't have any issue to do what Dolphin does actually, the only reason it can't is because they want to make full HD remakes for the actual Wii U and the entire Wii U level hardware is locked out in the Wii U's Wii-Mode :/

AlphaPrime
Would like it if they added back in the content they cut out from the original release.
