Starting today, Microsoft and Nokia are making the beta of Nokia Drive+, the company’s turn-by-turn navigation app, available for free to all Windows Phone 8 customers in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Download it from the Windows Phone Store.

Great news for the WP8 ecosystem!

:( I wish there was still some support for Windows Phone 7. I haven't even gotten the 7.8 upgrade. I could really use this navigation application, the default Windows Phone 7 doesn't have an "avoid highways" feature and I just absolutely hate it.

Are you sure? I've seen some people on YouTube mention that they've got it without having to modify their phones in any way, straight from their carrier.

Maybe different countries?

Some people on youtube are full of it, it just recently hit Nokia's servers for AT&T which means it'll probably be another week, and they'll be the first to get upgraded.
