I have yet to see a "giant phone app" on my phablet (galaxy tab 2 7.0)

Where do these people get that idea?

It doesn't have 3G or a microphone so you cant use it as a phone.

Phablet means a Phone Tablet, the 7" isn't a phone.

Are you sure you're not mixing up your facts with the Galaxy Tab 7.0 which has 3G, or a 10.1 which also has 3G?

I think he means an app that's just been upscaled from a UI designed for phones.

I'm an android user, but I can't say much for the tablet apps out there... Because, well there aren't many...

I thought that, but then his second post seems to point out that people are saying his device is a phablet, and why they are doing that as it doesn't have 3G or a mic. I could be wrong though! :|

Funny how Samsung is going full circle. their first android tablets where 7 inches, AND DID have phone capability.

no no no.. People say the difference between the iPad and Android tablets are that the iPad has its own apps made for the screen size where as Android tablets apps are just blown up versions of the phone apps.
Thats what he is talking about.
