Single (or double) DIN CD player/radio with USB MP3?

Recommended Posts

Hello

Im looking for a single (or double) DIN cd player/radio with USB MP3 for a Megane 2005. Cheapest possible. The reason is that in a couple of months Im going to put a touchscreen for a CarPC so Ill just throw this out.

Simply has to read MP3 CD-R/RW and a USB port so it can play MP3s. Nothing else.

The current one (stock) only reads standard CDs (I havent gotten a chance to test it with CD-R/RW so I might even have to change the drive :( )

Honestly, go talk to a car sound place.

All the companies have different SKU's depending on the country, and the people working in the business will know more about what's in your country than the people on the forums.

Well, a model from a well known company (Alphine, for example) in country A will probably have a equivalent over here.

Ive seen the Pioneer DEH-4500BT that also includes Bluetooth (hands free is required by law here) but Im kind of confused if its included or if it is ready for Bluetooth and you have to buy a additional module.

^ Based on the product specs it's Built-In Bluetooth :)

OK, sometimes they say it includes Bluetooth but is just a module. It was talking about Parrot and such so I thought it might be a module.....thank you

It seems Ill get this one. In a couple of months Ill be replacing it but for the mean while, I think hands free is pretty important.

BTW, are these things universal worldwide? If I buy one in say US, can I use it in a UK car? Im just searching for cheaper prices and found some on some other countries that aren't mine.
