as long as they have some network tools on there... like wifi analyzers, throughput testing, service/application testing, etc.... I hope they will allow these.

The BB 10 icons they make available for developers are not compressed. Developers need to handle that. Just a warning.

For a 1.0 release phone and os, it sure does look impressive. The Verge's review said the os wasn't bad, took only a few minutes to figure out, and felt natural.

They said that it didn't blow away any phone, but was up there with the best. Poor battery performance thou. That could be an os issue, or a test model.

Either way, hope they do good, really good. It will make Microsoft, Google and Apple hopefully take action.

I've been reading up on the QNX OS that powers BB10 and it's an amazing piece of work. It has a bright future regardless of what happens to BB.

That most likely will be my next phone later this year. Coming from webOS it seems like the best option out there.

While I have respect for them trying to rebuild their brand I still can't seem to shake off their old stigma (BlackBerry phones being chav-magnets). Once I've seen them out in the open a bit longer though I bet that will change.

I don't get all the buzz around the looks of this phone. All I see is a modified Droid X.

I think it's look are closer to the Sony Xperia.

However I dont think a design, to be appreciated, should look like nothing else out there.
