Dashel
I like DVDFab personally. Can't say I've run into many 'errors' ripping DVDs (as opposed to CDs) beyond those imposed by copy protection. The ancient DVDShrink\Decryptor is still good too.
+BudMan MVC Posted January 29, 2013 MVC Share Posted January 29, 2013 I just use makemkv to pull the titles off. Never run into any sort of errors.
vcfan
read errors have nothing to do with the software, its all hardware based. Basically the software sends a read request to the dvd drive, the dvd hardware then reads this data, if there is some damage,it has error correction and, if that also fails then it returns are error to the software, and then the software will present you with an error code.
