Yea, I read this the other day. Apparently the women is still alive living out in the cabin on her own.

Even at work, I read the whole thing without stopping. That was incredibly interesting. I really hope there is a book written about this family and their discovery.

Yeah! Indeed a pretty neat, though I'm not so sure about their decision of turning down medical help...

The bottom of the article it sites the sources including a book from 1994 called Lost in Taiga. which is about the family.

Though the true question is could you go without human contact other than your folks almost all your life?
