cork1958
Don't use Linux on a daily basis, but it is installed on a few of my machines. Just not on one now. I always like this Linux monthly desktop topic way more than the Windows version of same topic as it seems to me that things just look better in Linux. Don't know why, but maybe it's just the plain simplicity of Linux and it's looks. :)

tim_s
Only the wallpaper has changed since last month: I really like this, the simplicity of it all. colors are not disruptive to the surrounding windows, the design is simple as background noise but when taking a closer look, shows a little more depth. NICE!

Syanide
Netbook running Lubuntu 12.10. Huge thanks to the forum member who recently asked about the details of a desktop I posted here two years ago, it reminded me of how nice wingpanel was on a small screen. Yorak
I really like this, the simplicity of it all. colors are not disruptive to the surrounding windows, the design is simple as background noise but when taking a closer look, shows a little more depth. NICE! Thank you. :) Yeah, I am kind of obsessive compulsive about stuff. It took me forever to find a wallpaper that contrasted the Arch logo well enough, lol. So what DE/WM are you running on your Gentoo install? I have not played with Gentoo in a few months, I should throw it in a VM sometime. Some things about it that I certainly prefer over Arch, but I suppose I got a bit lazy over time.
