win8 2 Computers 1 Windows ID

Hi,

I've Windows 8 installed in my laptop since it's out, I use my live account to login. In one month I'll refresh my desktop and I'll install Windows 8 and use the same live account to login.

I use my laptop at work and when I come home I connect it to my network and use remote desktop to check and prepare my next work day. Can I still do it when my desktop will be upgrade?

I ask this question since I'll use the same Windows ID on the two computer and on the same network.

Yes you can, and they will synchronise a bit too!

For instance I have a desktop and a tablet both using the same Windows ID , if I change the 'Metro' theme or the desktop wallpaper on one , it'll change on the other too!

I've one more question, when I'll connect for the 1st in my desktop will I've to reconfigure all my calendars, my mail accounts, etc. or they are save with my Windows ID?

Yes , all that synchronizes too.

As soon as you login with your Windows ID on a new install of Windows 8 , it will all synchronize automatically.
