I love it.

Picked random places to explore when I had no quest that match my level.

Found some bad ass castle. Picked up cool gear.

Would have being killed. But I run and hide... Run and hide.

Now I have super cool gear... Way above my level.

Life is good. Lol

run and hide?

Witchers don't run, they roll and attack, roll and attack and just when you think its all hopeless and you're barely doing any damage you stop drop and roll some more.

Think it's the one near the route to Novigrad. You get a loot hunt for armor schematics which leads you there if you don't find it first by exploring.

Game may well be my GoTY, and that's beating Bloodborne! Really fantastic RPG. So many interesting characters as well as cool monsters/ties to real world lore.

Staggering amount of content as well. Makes Dragon Age seem like a poor shell of MMO fetch quests. Don't get me wrong this is fetch quests hidden behind the scenes as well, but all from voice acted NPCs with interesting stories.

Yeah, it's tiny lol. I'm catching up on the main quest now, overlevelled a little doing side missions and witcher contracts. Your choices from Witcher 2 do matter, met a character on a quest you have a choice to let live or kill in the 2nd, whilst doing a side quest.

if the enemy is much higher level, it will take forever, and if there are more then one,  it better to go around them

i noticed the A.I. is pretty weird.    twice i found an invisible border the enemies will not cross, so you can roll in, hit them and roll away, and even though nothing is between you, they will just wait there, without approaching you.

(normal difficulty)

What, go around them, go around them?  This isn't DAI, what you suggest is madness!

Now if you will excuse me I have to go load a save game for the 10th time, this higher level beast will fall or I shall roll trying.

2 things i don't like:

Falling damage is way too high.
Equipment degrades really fast.
(why did they even add this, just waste of time having to make sure i have repair kits)

Fall damage is ridiculous. Fall off a knee high wall, 3/4 of health bar lol.
