NASA Engineer Talks Neil Armstrong, Mars & Early Computers

Recommended Posts

I met this gentleman last year when I went to the cape. I just found a video of him on YouTube. He is so funny. His name is Roy Whitson and he was a Saturn V and Shuttle engineer who worked with Armstrong and all the old guys who first went to space. His stories about Neil Armstrong and how he failed the simulator landings but yet managed to land the Eagle without crashing it are fascinating.

Here's the video.
