Darker background for all things windows

Hey all, I work a lot at night in the dark. as you can imagine it's not nice on my eyes to look at 3 bright monitors for hours on end. I have turned the brightness all the way down and Use the program called Flux to change the entire color theme to be easier on the eyes. It's not enough....

When I am reading emails in outlook or typing in word, the white background is just terrible.... Same with Chrome...

Is there any way I can change all office applications to use gray backgrounds? maybe a nice light brown?

I would hate to have to go through and skin each application individually but think it may be my only option.

If working in any windows OS other then 8 there are many skinning apps that can be used to not only change the background, but damn near every phase of the OS. . .Good luck. . .Google is your friend.

Oh if in win 8 you can use the High Contrast themes. . . :)
