I want to buy the digital copy from MS with the student discount, but they are forcing me to add the backup media for $14.95, I do not need this, but there does not appear to be any method for removing it. Does anyone know if there is a way to do that?

What about Dreamspark Premium? I have access to Windows 8 Pro through there.
(You may need to ask for an account via your department - its how I got mine)

I'm a first year student, and not even starting in my core classes (degree) so I doubt that they will give me a dreamspark premimum account! I guess I can email the prgram dean and see what happens...
