Growled Member Posted February 11, 2013 Member Share Posted February 11, 2013 Oh, I agree, it is stupid. And the design on the other end is even worse.

Auroka
That was unnecessary. I think he was talking about the proprietary charger.

dfuk
I wonder if Tesco's are pulling a fast one, as the Tab2 i borrowed to test had a psu like my S3 only 2amp instead of 1amp.

I own one of these and it's a great tablet but I hate that charger.

-T- Member Posted February 11, 2013 Member Share Posted February 11, 2013 My iPhone and iPad chargers look very similar to that, but in white, they're terrible, Amy movement in the cord and they fall out the socket

PC World must be "pulling a fast one" too both Tab 2`s I`ve bought from there have the same charger

dfuk
Nope looks like you have the standard uk psu, I wonder where the one i had came from? It was a sample borrowed from Samsung, maybe a previous user put the wrong psu in the box. on a quick look around the net it was the travel adaptor from a Note 2. It worked fine so, if your totally pee'd off maybe get one to use instead, or get a standard figure 8 lead and plug your adaptor into that instead of the bulky 3 pin adaptor. DirtyLarry Veteran Posted February 11, 2013 Veteran Share Posted February 11, 2013 The amount of times I've almost accidentally kicked it is stupid. Compare it to the sensible Apple iPhone 4S charger next to it! I think you may be walking way, way to close to your walls. Compare it to the sensible Apple iPhone 4S charger next to it! You do realize the iPhone charger is less than 1A, while the pad charger is above 1A and even the iPad charger hav the square blocks. And why are you so close to the wall you kick them, over here all the iPhone chargers pont out using the euro plug design, making them one lock stick with the USB plug at the back end. Nashy
Not the same as Aussie plug. That goes for iPhone and Galaxy Tab.
