I am sure Apple will take credit for creating the first smart watch and then call it revolutionary and innovative. Would be a dumb move by Apple to make a watch like this. I do not know anyone, cept my dad, that still wears a watch. I may wear one for special events, but its a normal watch.

There just isnt a need for something like this. Why look at a watch when looking at your phone is just as easy.

If they could actually make it work, then yes, it would be revolutionary. Most of these designs suck balls though, have lame functionality, and so forth. It's not about creating something new per se, but about creating something useful.

I believe for these watches (not just this watch, these other "smart" watches as well), to have any real true function, they need to be paired with your smart phone.

To be paired with your smart phone, that means your smart phone needs to be on your person.

If your smart phone is on your person, how ****ing lazy do you have to be to not grab it and do whatever it is you are looking towards this watch to do?

My point being, this is truly the dumbest technology I have ever seen.

Honestly, as much as I hate to admit it because I absolutely hate the idea of a smart watch (and totally agree with Boz on wearing them more for fashion anyway)... it'd be kind of welcome. Half the time I'm trying to multitask, and don't have time to pull out my phone, let alone let clients and management know that I'm checking my phone. To glance at my watch when I feel a buzz from a text, know if it's important or not, without being disruptive to those around me...

iono, it COULD work, but execution is everything, and I don't see it happening.
