Messenger Plus! for Skype

Question

You may be familiar with the software application Messenger Plus! for Windows Live Messenger. Since September of 2005 Messenger Plus! included an optional Sponsor application geared to generate revenue for the sole developer Cyril.

In 2009 it was announced that Cyril was no longer in full control of the company or direction of the software and gradually he was phased out. Fast forward to yesterday. It was announced that a new installer package for Messenger Plus! for Skype was released however with a caveat; if you want to use the software you are now forced to install one of the 3 current advertisement packages.

Hopefully they will change their mind however Yuna Software (market.com) has been slowly running the application and everything associated with it into the ground.

Unfortunately the software now is less likely to die off. This version is for Skype... the only chance of it dieing is if the company loses too much money on the product, which I assume they have been since the acquisition in 2009. I personally know Cryil and we just laugh at what has transpired over the past few short years.
