Well there has been a rumor it's going to be called the Xbox Infinity for a while, so that would make sense.

Of course, that rumor is about as credible as this image.

I don't think they'll use a number and I don't think they'll use some symbol either. I think it'll have a name, Xbox something and they'll call the hardware by that name mostly since they've now expanded Xbox to cover more things.

yes in case you've been living under a rock that's what was formerly known as the metro (segoe) font that goes along w/ the ui direction microsoft is moving...get used to it, it'll be here for quite some time.

No the best thing they could do is this-- XBOX (release year) then release models like that of cars--- (no extra other than the year) then the X model-- then the XL model. (and if they release one off schedule- then add a letter at the end like S for Special Edition)

You know the low end one- Mid range one - and then the deluxe one.

Then also add a K in it if it has kinetic with it.

That would be a far better number scheme.

This year release would look like-

XBOX 2013

XBOX 2013 X

XBOX 2013 XL

XBOX 2013 XLS

XBOX K2013 (X,XL,XLS)

Which the changes could be simple as bigger hard drives, faster processors, or more video memory.....

just a thought...

It's actually the infinity symbol that has been linked to the xbox naming for ages, wouldn't be surprised if the next xbox is called that tbh.

Personally I would prefer it to be called Infinity rather than 720.

XBOX Next would be alright too, but even XBOX 3 would be better than XBOX 720.

I doubt they'll call it infinity, infinity means forever implying that this is the final Xbox, unless they started calling it Infinity 2, Infinity 3, etc..
