The paranormal crime drama has been picked up for a fourth season, the cable channel has confirmed.

The show's third season - currently airing on Mondays at 10/9c in the US - has been averaging 1.3m viewers, with 676,000 viewers in the key 18-49 demographic.

The season is currently scheduled to wrap on April 22, with season four expected to follow in 2014.

I'm glad it's been renewed for a new season and I'm sort of surprised that Syfy hasn't found some way to screw it up.

That's because Syfy don't own the rights to the show, just got viewing rights. The show is made by Showcase here in Canada.
