March 2013 Desktops

Recommended Posts

Changed a few things up. Went back to Waterfox. Firefox on Android is a lot faster than Chrome, on the desktop it comes down to miliseconds. I've also found that Chrome on Linux is buggy as hell. I branded my computer Asus with a utility I found because I have an Asus Mobo. :) I recently got ahold of a Volume Enterprise version of W7 (Company Issue) so IDK if I'm going to reimage my machine with it--Depends on my mood...Enjoy!

Tell me if you have any problems. :) I used a different utility than this to brand mine, however the program is considered an "all in one" utility, which can also be used to crack and perform other underground task. Even tho we're running genuine Windows and using it for legit purposes, I don't think will go over too well if I post it here.

Home screen. It's weird because I can't move tiles and when you make them all small, they don't arrange correctly. Oh well, beta OS.

You can drag tiles, just right click on the start screen and click customize in the lower right corner, then you can drag things around. Kind of a regression from Win8 but that's how it is in this build.

Oh! Thanks! That's stupid--I hope they change that. :D

If I were a Windows 8.5 user, my home screen would look like this:

They need to:

- Make it so icons aren't cut off when you shrink the icon

- Add in a "Tile Color" option Where the background and Accent colors are located

- It would be uber cool if the desktop icon was a live tile that showes a list of running apps, and if you drag an icon over it it launches, but doesn't switch over to the desktop like clicking an icon does. This would make opening firefox, vmware, explorer and foobar a hell of a lot easier
