yummmmmm

Indeed! We eat boar, pig, cows, lamb, all sorts of fowl. I've eaten Kangaroo in Australia. Snake in China. If anything, it's probably healthier leaner meat, such as Buffalo. Yum indeed!

It's the filler and all the artificial stuff that they put into the food that I dislike.

It's news to me too. Apparently there's three locations in the UK: http://www.tacobellu...uk/contact.html
Haha, thanks for that! One in Manchester, never knew it. Shall have to find it next time and see how it compares.

Same here! I tried Taco Bell when I went over and loved it. Manchester is a bit closer than America to get a Burrito :)

It's in the Food Court at the Manchester Arndale shopping centre ... right next to KFC.

Tex-Mex fast-food chain Taco Bell, owned by U.S. firm Yum Brands Inc., has three outlets in the UK.

You guys don't know what you are missing. We have them on ever corner. Some good food.

As for the horse meat....isn't it just a trace?

Kangaroo burgers and steaks are sold in the UK as well, at Walkabouts (Australian themed bars). However, the reason it's such an issue is that a) the public is generally squeamish about non-conventional meats, b) the products weren't labelled properly, c) criminals acts were committed, and d) nobody knows what quality the meat was (we know that some of it contained potentially dangerous drugs). A lot of horses that are unfit for the food chain are being sold from the US into Latin American countries, who then ship that meat to the EU - the systems in place to ensure the quality of the meat are woefully inadequate and rely on the honesty of suppliers.

I'd have absolutely no problem with going into McDonald's and ordering a horse burger if they sold one but I want to know exactly what I'm ordering and that it is safe to eat.
