Reactions to a fake murder-in-progress in an elevator. Some of them are what you'd expect but others might make your blood boil a little, especially the last one.

that last guy had to have been a staged reaction (I'd hope 0_o)

i don't know why, but i found the guy with the fire extinguisher hilarious

I hope that last reaction was just something they faked too. Also, not sure if this belongs in a sub-forum with the subheading of "Brighten up someone's day with a laugh, right here!" :p

The last guy was collecting evidential proof of the attacker and the crime, which to be honest had the perp run away at that point was more likely to get him caught than any eye witness statement after the fact. What he did after that point was not shown and it seems some are assuming no action was taking on his part to stop it continuing which may not be so.

I must say it was a rather risky endevour to make this film as the outcome for the "attacker" could clearly have been dangerous depending on the ability of the person encountering the event and if they were armed.

What in the...how did so many of them either just stand there or walk away?! If it were me my first reaction would probably be to kick the "attacker" in the face.

And the use of the fire extinguisher...genius!

I wonder if the people making these experiments understand that it could turn very ugly very fast? I mean sure it's good to see that some people actually help and don't run away but if it were me I'd kick him in the face with my feet for starters and probably would beat the living **** out of him before anyone could even run there..It's a dangerous thing to do in public, specially if it was in the USA someone could even pull a gun on you?! :/

I can't understand the people who slowly walk away... I can understand freezing up or leaping into action, those are natural responses, but slowly walking away?

The slow walking is probably an onset of shock pre fight or flight syndrome and as no actual ethical studies seem to have been done as part of this it looks more like a badly thought out prank than a serious experiment into human behaviour.
