Happy Pi Day!

Only if you get your dates in a weird order, like the US does ;)

I wish I hadn't posted something, otherwise you would have tied the record for turning a lighthearted discussion here into U.S. bashing. My apologies.

Wow, way to take a joke and act defensively! It's a joke - I hardly see America getting it's dates in a weird format* the worst thing I could say - uptight much!?

* Yup, most of the world works to the more obviously logical DD/MM/YYYY

Yo, I'mma let you finish, but I think e is the best trancendental constant of all time!

Pi is the most importand, Euler constants and equations are seen as the "most elegant"

The US format has the advantage when it means you get to celebrate with pie. I mean, 14.3 is nothing :o

I'll just leave this here... http://xkcd.com/1179/ ;)

Completely agree. YYYY-MM-DD is absolutely perfect.

BUT --->MOST<--- of the world uses DD-MM-YYYY

Wow, a lighthearted joke seems to really have undermined this thread...

Whew! Way to lose it dude, maybe I was kidding too. Anyway, YYYY/MM/DD is more logical than that. MM/DD/YYYY is like that because that's the way that is it spoken in English.

Back on topic! Wouldn't the best time of day to celebrate this be at 3:49:21 AM?
