faith based religion is bigots group,

they treat non-believer groups differently than believers group.

and in this case, Islam makes a lot example in qur'an how to treat such groups.

Being segregationist is religious.

Look who is an anti-religious bigot. Can you tell who that is? More non-sense posted.

I personally do not agree with their stance or religion and I would not segregate men or women.

However, who is Professor Krauss to tell people how to live their lives. He is a SCIENTIST, that is what he is supposed to be doing. You know Science?

I have an idea, why don't we just have scientist work on social issues or religious issues, that will make the best use of their time (since they have no apparent agenda).

As usual, you get an F minus on reading comprehension.

Not once did Krauss tell people how to live their lives. He simply said that if they don't stop segregating the audience that he'd been booked to speak to, he would leave.

Being segregationist is religious.

Not always.

Many, but not all, religions are segregationist, and not all segregationists are religious.

Islam IS segregationist though.

I know. I just thought there were too many negatives in your sentence and I decided to modify it for fun :)

However, to say "being religious is segregationist" applies 100% of the time. Because despite the number of religions that preach oneness, love, and tolerance - not single one of them seems to practice it. By default, these rights are meant to be applied to the followers.

So you're a supporter of segregation? Yikes.

No, but he is trying to push his views onto people who believe differently. They have a right to their beliefs too, even when I don't agree with them.

That is a lot of judging for a lot of people.

What I find funny is the double standards presented by a lot of people here. This is an observation of mine.

Still trying to use a method to control people. So, I don't get how reading comprehension fails when facts are facts and I am proven to be correct.

Also, what exactly does this have to do with Science again?

If you are a scientist, stick to that. Otherwise it just makes you and your profession look bad.

Krauss also has a right to walk out and not participate in something he doesn't believe in. He's not the one doing the forcing here. Rather, it's the other way around. If you want to be segregated, segregate yourself? Why enforce segregation onto the entire audience?

No, but he is trying to push his views onto people who believe differently. They have a right to their beliefs too, even when I don't agree with them.

And he is allowed his beliefs too; ergo his statement that if they segregate, he'd leave. No one forced them to stop segregating; it was entirely voluntary.

Also, judging by some of the comments by audience members, many didn't want to be segregated either, not to mention that such segregation is actually illegal in the UK anyway.

So because he's a scientist, he's not allowed his own beliefs and instead must have those of others forced on him?

It goes both ways, Yoggy. It's HIS choice whether to speak or not, after all.

And once again, forced segregation is illegal in the UK.
