is there any word of this card working with the latest 3ds firmware?

worked for me on my 3ds last time i popped it in a few months ago. and supercard is usually pretty good about getting an update out if a new firmware breaks things

I'm going to have to state that we keep discussion away from detailed information on using flash cards to play emulated retail games, more specifically Nintendo DS games (most of which can be found for cheap now). Since this is the most common reason people buy these cards, this does break one of the main forum rules on piracy.

The odd mention of their existence is fair, since it is a thing that exists, and especially since there is a 3DS homebrew scene.

I will just clean the thread for now, but take note of this and keep to supporting the development studios. :)

I'm going to pick up a 3ds xl tonight. Gonna get Luigi for sure...then get the free Professor Layton. :D

The XL is a HUGE improvement over the original 3DS. I don't know why Ninty thought the first 3DS design/size was good. If I was cynical I would say they were bilking consumers.

Let us know what you think of the 3DS XL ;)

The original design is much better at being a system you can actually take with you. Perhaps that's why they thought the original model was fine.

That's exactly what they thought. My cousin has an xl and it can't even fit into my biggest pocket on my jacket :(

Having used/owned both, I disagree with that assertion.

The XL is great. It makes my old DS look hilariously tiny. :D

I'm not such a big fan of the 3D though but that will probably take some getting used to.

Luigi looks like it's going to be decent game (only played for about an hour).

I quite like the XL actually, the 3D seems to be a little more effective at the immersion thing and I prefer the matte, smooth finish with the corners being less sharp from experience using one. (I don't actually have one :()

So I went ahead and ordered myself a SC DSTwo and I've now bought my 4th game for the 3ds, Super Mario 3D land lol. The SC is mainly going to be used for homebrew and testing out the hardware.
