Seriously though, with all the hype surrounding the game when it was released, it's surprising you're just now finding out about it.

As already stated, this is one of the best console games to date, great replay value also.

I am nto a console gamer. I do own a PS3 but I never use it. All I ever play is Battlefield 3 on the PC and that's it....LOL...LOL...So yes, I am a little behind when it comes to console games.

Red Dead Redemption is a great game. Always went off to do the side quests and never finished the main story. I am easily distracted! lol

I insist that you go and buy this game immediately. Gamer or not, this is a great game. I think the GOTY version comes with the Undead Nightmare expansion pack, which is as good as a standalone game.

I have seen it on shelves, but only just bought it on the description "GTA with horses"... Quite like it.

It is indeed one of the best games ever made, particularly if you like the era. I should play it again, if only I could find the 360... I know it's lurking somewhere in the wardrobe.

I've never played until the end... I've played through several times but always stop near the end. There is something about it that gives me a bad feeling. :p

I wasn't sold on it when it was described to me as GTA on horses until I decided to play it, it has GTA mechanics but the story is WAY better imo. Loved hunting animals and getting on the train and just travelling around the MASSIVE map and seeing all the varied landscapes.

I hope they make a sequel to it after GTA5.

Great game, only flaw was it suffered from some pacing issues, mainly around mid-game.
