briangw
Clive Barker's Undying. Played 10 minutes of it....uninstalled. Oh, and Alien back on the C-64. The music/sounds, really freaked me out (not to mention when the Alien jumps out at you):

Alwaysonacoffebreak
Well don't know much about non-horror that would have scared me but in horror games. Nursery in DS2 is way too messed up, first time I played it I think I peed a little in my pants, way too jumpy for that. Also Doom 3, god damn that game, can't wait for Doom 4. Also don't forget FEAR. It's filled with moments that will scare the living hell out of you when you play at night in a dark room and headphones on, makes you look at your door all the time :D +hedleigh 1 Share
(Account no longer active)
Pretty much playing any game that starts silent, and not knowing you've accidentlly turned your sound system to max! Oddworld on PlayStation (one) comes to mind.
cacoe
Getting caught in Thief. System Shock 2 scared the crap out of me on occasion too. Many moments in Half-Life where the face-crabs would unexpectedly jump at you. I don't think I've been /really/ scared in years from anything in games. Nick H. Supervisor Posted March 31, 2013 Supervisor Share Posted March 31, 2013 T-Rex in the first Tomb Raider. YES! I remember being terrified when that thing appeared. The fist pumps that were going around when we beat him though...great feeling. Getting caught in Thief. Yep, I have the same feeling with any of the sneak-em-up games. Really tense, biding your time, then boom - you're caught.
