Administrators Posted March 31, 2013 Administrators Share Posted March 31, 2013 GNU / Linux April 2013 Desktops - Posting Guidelines * Embedded images should be smaller than or equal to 1440x900 (preferably 1024x768) The file size for image previews should be no larger than 500 KB Images linked externally should be no larger than 3 MB * If you plan to img-embed your desktop, please try to keep it under 100k (It's recommended that you link it, externally). * Stay within the board rules, no matter how yummy you may believe it to be. * If you are going to quote, there isn't a need to quote an img-embeded picture - Just don't do it. We do not support a babes forum and neither will we in an unofficial capacity. Wallpaper is a photograph my wife took of my son and I going for a hike while we were on an overnight camping trip (If you can call it a "trip", we own the property) this past weekend. Not a problem, but the only annoying thing I've encountered was haveing to edit and add an application to your menu every time you install something new. Not a problem, but the only annoying thing I've encountered was haveing to edit and add an application to your menu every time you install something new. I really like Crunchbang's Openbox configuration, but the manual menu editing kinda annoyed me a little bit too. Fortunately there is an auto-updating menu available for Openbox in Debian. The installation procedure is described on the extensive Openbox page on the Debian wiki and again on the Crunchbang wiki. The Crunchbang procedure is a little more explicit (in that it has all the required steps neatly listed in one place, not spread out over and entire page) but both pages have very good information.
