3 accused of stealing $300K from 94-year old man

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people, including a certified nursing assistant, are accused of stealing more than $300,000 from a 94-year-old Chicago man with dementia.

Carmelita Pasamba, 62, is charged with financial exploitation of a senior citizen. According to court records, she allegedly gained access to the man's money and used it to remodel her home, give money to her family and purchase a luxury car.

Pasamba's husband, Ddgardo and her sister, Jocelyn Varga Baker are also charged.
