Man points BB gun at Obama's motorcade

Like a tiny little bb would get through the Obama's Presidential Beast limo.

That's not really the point. Law enforcement/Secret Service must deem it a deadly weapon until confirmed otherwise. Many models of BB guns look like the real thing now a days anyways, especially from a distance.

I own this particular Pellet rifle below, pretty aggressive looking for a pellet gun.

Not a very bright kid though.

Since when does a BB gun NOT look like a real gun ?

Technically. A BB gun is a real gun. Those plastic AirSoft guns are what the toys are now.

If it's going more than 1000 FPS, I don't want to be hit by it. DocM would understand ;)

******* was lucky he didn't get shot

+1

Not a smart move by any means. Watch him be tested for mental illness along with drugs etc... and then if this spreads far enough, watch all the Anti-Gun lobbyists join in on the game against BB Guns now.

Aren't these things meant to have an orange muzzle?

First of all, there's no accounting for people doing stupid things like painting the muzzles black to make them look more real. Second of all, the Presidential security staff probably doesn't care whether it has an orange muzzle or not (obviously easy to fake) - if it's gun-shaped and pointed at the President, it's fair game.

are they BBs or air rifles... BB is the type of bullet .... not how its fired ... I own a rifle which is used to hunt.. its an air rifle and shoots lead pellets

They're making BB guns that look like all sorts of other types of firearms nowadays. I was in Wal-Mart the other day and saw an AR-15 (thought it was anyway) laying on a shelf with nothing but a chain looped through the trigger and the shelf to keep it on there. I picked it up and realized right away it was a BB gun because of how light it was, but to look at it from a distance without being able to touch it, you would think it was a regular AR-15.

This guy is lucky to be alive.

Edit: So upon actually watching the video, this is retarded. The motorcade had already gone by, a guy was target practicing with a pellet gun, and everybody flipped out because the presidential motorcade was supposed to be back that way later. The secret service interviewed him and deemed him not a threat, but of course Connecticut is going to probably throw him in jail for a while to try to make an example out of anybody who owns a gun and lives in their state.

Slide serrations are wrong, on a Glock they are vertical, there are no forward serrations, the slide is more "plain" on a Glock too, a lot less writing.

I assume its supposed to be a Gen 3 or 4, the finger grooves are not deep enough, and there is no, grip tape on a Glock on the side of the grip (you can add it), Trigger is more flat on the real thing, and has a small "Glock Safety" tab poking out of the middle. There is no safety switch on any Glock. Finally the Tennifer finish is not there.

But for a cheap bb gun knock off, its ok.

Doesn't matter what he was doing with it. All guns, even this one, is designed and created for the sole purpose of killing humans. Surprised non of the anti gun freaks have been here to remind you of that.

You could shoot a human point blank with a pellet gun and it wouldn't kill them unless you shot them in the temple or the eyeball or something, or just had an extremely high powered one. Pellet/BB guns are not designed for killing humans, they are designed for killing small animals like squirrels and mice. I use one to pelt dogs with that come into the yard uninvited and tear things up because it burns like hell and runs them off, but doesn't normally break the skin and cause any serious harm. Please educate yourself a bit more before making ridiculous statements.
