Windows update components must be repaired - again and again (win8)

Hi,

I have a clean installation of Windows 8 with my software installed and all HFs applied here (as of today). I ran the Troublershooters windows update repair tool and it said it had detected errors it needed to repair. I let it do it. I ran it again though - same problem. And again and again... Any idea how to troubleshoot what's really wrong?

I have no problems with WU itself btw and sfc /scannow didn't detect any violations.

Try the automated troubleshooter first. If that doesn't work, then follow the manual instructions. Expand the section that says "Click here to view or hide detailed information" under 'Let me fix it myself'.
