App pinning on other monitors

For Windows 8 "Blue" (or 8.1), Microsoft should allow permanent app pinning to secondary (or tertiary, if your PC supports a third monitor). It would be beneficial to mainly desktop users, and it's only logical now that the taskbar can spread across all monitors.

I agree with you. They should also allow metro apps on both screens too.

HP Compaq monitor drivers provide those additional bars via HP Display Assistant.

Multi-Monitor Metro is coming with 8.1. I think that's the feature I most excited about. :D

Yeah I'm going back to school in the fall and collages usually have those volume licensing discounts, so I'm hoping to pickup a copy of Windows 8.1 for cheap. I'm pretty excited about the new small/large tiles. It's something that should have been there since day one. I also want some new modern icons. That would really wrap up the lose ends and make me happy. :)

Till it arrives, Actual Multiple Monitors is the one that I had the best experience with. Closely clones the Windows taskbar functions.
