Noticed when the apps auto-updated themselves: Facebook 3.1 for Android and Facebook Messenger 2.4 for Android are out. There is no trace of Facebook Home on the Play Store though (yet?).

Google Play Store links:

IIRC, Home is installed as part of the Facebook app.

Home is a Launcher for Android, so it will have to be installed separately from the Facebook app.

Just installed it, and it asks for extra permissions including one that's related to Home. Doesn't prompt me to activate it on opening the app though.

I installed that new version of Play that's coming out and it's slow as molasses trying to load my apps, to look for updates.

For those who want it and have a compatible device: Facebook Home is now also available on the Play Store. https://play.google....m.facebook.home

It is incompatible with the Nexus 4. Oh the horror...

You're not missing out on much admittedly, although the fancy circular buttons are very fancy.

Apparently Messenger actually adds support for that chat head thing from Home.
