What goals do you have? How long will it take for you to accomplish them?

Recommended Posts

Some context - I watched a video on youtube that had short clips about achieving some significant goals in just a short amount of time. I don't totally believe it, so I'm curious about what others think about goals and how long people think it will take to accomplish them.

What are your goals? How long will it take you to achieve them?

Hopefully you can bother to follow him and report when he finishes.

Personally I don't quite believe that 90 days are the magical number - I think it varies, especially on the last thing he set out to do, as he'll very probably not have his heart in it

I think the bigger the goal the more time it's going to take to achieve it.

If you can achieve it in 90 days or less, you're not setting your sights high enough.

Yep,

That was my ONLY goal for a time.

Actually I would've worded it like this. Work until I'm 55 and retire before I drop dead from working!!

I have achived that quicker than anticipated even. Was retired at 53 years old and still relatively healthy!! :)

Already have the RV, wife and 2 dogs!!

Goals are easy to accomplish you really just have to believe. I made a goal to work less and make more money, I did it in 30 days. I made a goal to travel more, I just got back from my second 10 day vacation. I wanted a new car, I bought one. I wanted to never have a boss ever again in life, I accomplished that. Goals are extremely easy to accomplish as long as you want to do it and believe you can.

from all the courses I have seen, seminars, and people experienced in the field that I have talked to, it somewhat goes similar to the 90 day rule. It takes 90 takes to make something a habit. (and to break one to). If you make a habit of doing something that benefits you in a way that leads you to your goals, you will eventually get there.
