Why the return of the Start button is far more problematic than _____.

Metro is clearly a more powerful product, but does that matter if you are wooing the light/casual use demographic that you so often champion? We're doing it for the children, remember? ;)

True enough, I suppose. But here's the rub.... most tablets have either android or apple. Windows tablets don't even rise to the level of "also ran". Which makes it kinda insane to pander to the tablet market, and **** off the billion or so desktop users who despise metro.

Anecdotal at best but we have had inquiries about Windows tablet support (not sure if it was 8 or RT). You can blow me off because I can't really drop any names but there is some latent demand that is just not there for iPad/Android.
