BlackBerry Q10 to be available at all four major US carriers

While BlackBerry's Z10 has been on the market for a few months now, the company has been a bit more cagey about the launch of the Q10, its first BB10 device with a physical keyboard. Now, according to a statement given to Fierce Wireless, BlackBerry plans to release the Q10 at all four major US carriers by the end of May; this matches up with the company's statements earlier this year. While we knew Sprint and AT&T were planning to carry the device, we now know that T-Mobile and Verizon will support it as well. As for pricing, the BlackBerry spokesperson said it would be available with a suggested retail price of $249 on a two-year contract. That's squarely in premium pricing territory, and it remains to be seen if the BlackBerry brand (and its ubiquitous QWERTY keyboards) still have the cache necessary to get consumers to pay that kind of money. We should find out either way by the end of next month.
