A minor aspect.. Haswell comes with xeon(non-gpu & equivalent to core i7) editions too?

Haswell will indeed have such, with 12x0v3 designation (models with 12x5v3 will have GPUs). Supposed to have the same release date as consumer counterparts.
I don't think initial pricing (while it's all up for grabs) will justify the purchase as in this case here. And motherboards will not have matured, too. For a certain stability guarantee I suggest you not to be an early adopter.

Updates won't hurt. Possible crashes and obscure bugs might. I'm not insisting, but me - I'd rather wait some time for market to settle down, wait for reviews to crop up and such, so it's clear that there isn't anything close to another Panther Point. There's already this USB3 sleep bug Intel found (glad they did it before release) and then there's possible incompatibilities with some power supplies due to new C7 power state. There's a lot to consider and watch out for.

I'm coming with news.. haven't decided yet & need your pro opinions related to my worries..
1. Haswell (core i5)

vs.
2. Ivy Bridge (Xeon)

- not interested in overclock
- GPU from CPU will not improve my life (useless)
- worried about sleep bug on Haswell as long as that motherboard will live years inside my case.
- 1230v3 will increase the costs and it's not a solution.

Any suggestion is welcome.
