That's fair enough although shouldn't that be applies to all prisoners with mental health issues? I understand that you feel differently about this because of your sister's experiences but I don't see how this woman deserves special treatment over other prisoners.

I would advocate that treatment is always the better option.

If you lock a sick person in a jail for 5 years, what do you have when they get out? A sick person that's learned all sorts of new ways to hurt people. Lock them up in a hospital though, you have at least a chance of releasing a well person at the end of it.

It's funny how you're happy to take advantage of welfare like Medicare and have the state pay for your medical costs but you then demonise anyone else on benefits and look for additional ways to run the welfare system down.

There you go again, making assumptions. I opted out of those parts of Medicare that I legally could and have full-shot private insurance that meets my needs.

And for the record: Social Security isn't the same as welfare. The vast majority of the former is paid for by employee and employer contributions while these perpetual welfare recipients seldom contribute to their benefits.

You don't have any evidence that the woman was exploiting welfare so your straw man arguments are nothing more than trolling.

Learn to read; I used "OR", indicating it as a possible alternative to her being nuts.

If I was the daughter, I would have sought out the police, when mom made such a kooky suggestion.

Trolling

This clearly had nothing to do with welfare.

I don't know. That not my circle. But I can point you in the direction of a few villages in the mid to southern phillipines where crazy **** happens.
