Unwelcome passenger surprises driver

Recommended Posts

Angie Guerrero was driving along highway 14 in Santa Clarita, California, when she felt something slither between her legs. :|

When Angie looked down she saw, a non-venomous California Kingsnake.

She narrowly avoided crashing into the car next to her, pulled over, and waited for California Highway Patrol to rescue her.

Which they did eventually, but it took 45 minutes, because the snake kept slithering in and out of the dashboard.

Ugh, how terrifying.

Stupid people. Kingsnakes are harmless and docile, and often kept as pets. She should have just stopped, turned the A/C on full blast, got out & left the door open. He'd have sought warmth and left on his own.

Handy to have around as they eat venomous snakes, including rattlers.

You can't expect everyone to know how to recognize them. Better safe than sorry.

Better safe than sorry. They're way too close in appearance to a coral snake to take any chances.

Meh non-venomist snake scared her. Try driving though a swarm of 500+ bees and getting 10+ of them in your car. That will scare the crap out of you. (happened last week to me, just stop car, and leave door open). I had to run out of my car because I am alergic to bees.

Red next to yellow kill a fellow, Red next to Black venom lack is how I was told to learn it.

*edit* Should have read the thread, already beaten to it.
