I've seen reviews on the lenovo u310 saying it has major wifi issues, some of those reviews however are kind of old..so it might be fixed. Also the U310 has a max of only 4GB of RAM.

IMO, the ASUS one is better.

I was thinking with the SSD the lenovo would be better. But I am thinking now to go with the Asus based on your guys recommendations. Thanks and others are welcome to comment too.

I just had an issue with my Lenovo Carbon X1. So I sent it in this Wednesday with UPS; and I got it back on Friday! If you care about customer support, Lenovo would get my recommendation.

IdeaPad and ThinkPad support is miles apart. The U310 is an IdeaPad and the X1 is a ThinkPad.

You could swap out the HDD in the Asus for a SSD. Plus, with the Asus, you get a Core i5/6GB of RAM, so that's a plus.
