...so basically, TweetDeck continues to exist, but Twitter have moved it's operations out of the UK so that they don't have to pay any tax(!)

And that problem with that is? If they aren't actually employing anybody there or providing any services from their UK subsidiary, why should they keep running it or paying taxes?

But they DON'T! They were wound down, but simply still existed as an entity. All this is saying is "Twitter failed to notify Companies House that TweetDeck Limited was no longer operating. As such, Companies House has closed the company for them"

No. TweetDeck did not employ people then, Twitter did, surely?
