Adam1V Posted May 12, 2013 Share Posted May 12, 2013 Emmy-winning drama 24, which starred Kiefer Sutherland as a counter terrorist agent is to return to US TV, the show's producer has confirmed. David Fury posted a message on Twitter, confirming the hit show will run on the Fox television network for 12 episodes. According to the Hollywood magazine Deadline, Sutherland is in talks to reprise his award-winning role as agent Jack Bauer. 24 concluded its eight-series run on Fox in 2010. Sutherland has appeared in all 192 episodes of the series since it began in 2001, with each series covering 24 hours of the agent's life, using a real time method of narration. Plans for a big screen version appear to have been abandoned, despite Sutherland telling The Sun newspaper last month that he is still keen. Sutherland's most recent role was in the supernatural drama series Touch, which aired on Sky 1. However, it was cancelled by Fox after just two seasons.
