Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a new Monitor for my Desk and to use with my MacBook Pro 13" 2010. I'm looking to get the Dell U2713HM (http://www.newegg.co...N82E16824260111)

I will connect the MacBook via MiniDisplay to the Monitor. Now I was wondering if the 2010 MBP will support the High Res of the Monitor?

Thanks in advance :)

Is the graphics chip onboard, or do you have a seperate nvidia or AMD chip?

As far as I know the Graphics chip is onboard, should be NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB

If my nVidia GeForce 9400M on my mid-2009 MBP is enough to power the 2560 x 1440 27" Apple Cinema Display, then your 320M will be fine. Unless I'm missing something, it looks like it has a DisplayPort input and not a Mini-DisplayPort input. You'll probably have to buy a $5 - $14 adapter.

Thanks, it's supposed to come with a Mini DP to DP cable from Dell :)
