May 25th, live on PPV, UFC 160, the rematch that decides the HW champion. Here's the card.

Prelims (Facebook)
Jeremy Stephens vs. Estevan Payan
Brian Bowles vs. George Roop
Stephen Thompson vs. Nah-Shon Burrell

Prelims (FX)
Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Abel Trujillo
Colton Smith vs. Robert Whittaker
Dennis Bermudez vs. Max Holloway
Mike Pyle vs. Rick Story

Main Card (PPV)
Donald Cerrone vs. KJ Noons
Gray Maynard vs. TJ Grant
Glover Teixeira vs. James Te-Huna
Junior Dos Santos vs. Mark Hunt
Cain Velasquez vs. António Silva

It's a pretty great card on paper, apart from the Smith vs Whittaker fight that should be on Facebook instead of Bowles vs Roop. I hope it really delivers.

Hahaha! I watched an interview with Silva on MMA Fighting and they were talking about some video, so I had to go view it. Hilarious stuff. :p He took it all in stride.

Cain is still going to bleed him dry again, but it's a great promo for the fight. Roughly 3h45 until the weigh-ins. I'm curious to see Hunt and JDS. This has all the makings of a GREAT card.

Everyone made weight except for Khabib Nurmagomedov. Also, the difference between JDS and Hunt is pretty much night and day.

My predictions:

Donald Cerrone vs. KJ Noons - This guy is crazy underrated. I always feel like Cerrone is too cocky and it might get the best of him again. KJ by unanimous decision.
Gray Maynard vs. TJ Grant - TJ is good but Maynard is better. He has some crazy knockout power for 155 pounds. I predict a first round TKO.
Glover Teixeira vs. James Te-Huna - I love Glover. He is on such a streak and I do not think Te-Huna has what it takes to stop him. Should be a great fight though.
Junior Dos Santos vs. Mark Hunt - It is really hard not to jump on the Mark Hunt bandwagon. The guy has been such an underdog. JDS has always been one of my favorite heavyweights, though. I can just tell how hard he trains. Mark Hunt is a beast and JDS does not want to take many punches from him. I predict a second round KO by JDS.
Cain Velasquez vs. António Silva - Man, Bigfoot is such a sweetheart. Very respectful and kind. He easily earned my respect with his knockout of Overeem. However, Cain is a crazy well-rounded heavyweight. Sure, Bigfoot will not be stupid enough to throw a kick this fight, but he will still be taken down and pounded on. Cain, TKO, third round.

Are you forgetting that Noons fought in a way that caused reasonable doubt about his win over Ryan Couture? He won the fight, sure. But he went the distance and didn't deliver a straight up blow-out of Ryan Couture. He isn't underrated, if anything he's overrated. He's 1-4 against every decent guy in Strikeforce. I think Cerrone is going to pick him apart.
I can see Teixeira vs Te-Huna going either way because of the power factor. Te-Huna hits very hard and has a good boxing skillset. One lucky haymaker and it could all be over.
As for the main event, 3rd round? I'll be amazed if it makes it past the first.

I think it will make it to the third round because Bigfoot is going to do very heavy defense. It was his offense that got him in trouble last time.

Do I honestly feel that Noons will beat Cerrone? It is unlikely, looking at facts. I just have a feeling about this one. Plus, Cerrone annoys the hell out of me.

Bigfoot is slow as molasses. If you look at both of his wins, before Browne blew out his own leg and became a sitting duck, he was tagging him at will. Same for Overeem but then he got cocky. Cain is going to blitz him into the ground and pound him mercilessly or just tag him non-stop on the feet.

K.J. Noons face must be hard as a diamond. Goddamn! That's a gnarly cut.
