Ex-Hooker Estate Of Dead Millionaire Fight Ends

Monte Sereno, CA ? Daughters of an ex-hooker have won their estate fight over the fortune of a slain Northern California millionaire.

A judge has ruled that two 9- and 7-year-old girls are the daughters of millionaire Ravi Kumra.

Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Thomas Cain said that meant the girls, daughters of a former prostitute, have a valid claim to part of Kumra?s fortune. The girls have been awarded $1,800 a month each for the rest of their lives.

Court papers in the case claimed the Indian-born millionaire led a life filled with prostitutes, drinking and drug problems, illegitimate children, and an alleged sham divorce. The businessman is best known for owning Mountain Winery in the 1990s.

Ravi Kumra was murdered on November 30, 2012 after masked gang members with ties to prostitutes familiar to Kumra broke into his 7,000-square foot home in Monte Sereno.

The wine magnate was bound, gagged, and killed before the gang made off with cash, jewelry and rare coins.

The 66-year-old Kumra?s wife, Harinder, was beaten and injured in the attack, for which five people have been charged.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, the Kumra family argued that the girls were the result of a ?sperm donor? arrangement.
