More Xbox One games confirmed, including Ryse
by John Callaham

Microsoft's announcement of the Xbox One on Tuesday was accompanied by a number of game announcements for the upcoming console. They included four EA Sports titles, two games from Microsoft (Forza Motorsport 5 and Quantum Break) and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Now other developers and publishers are also confirming their games will also be released for the Xbox One. Perhaps the most interesting of the bunch is Ryse, a game from developer Crytek that was first announced in 2010 by Microsoft as coming to the Xbox 360, under the working title Codename Kingdoms.

Cryket's website now confirms Ryse is an Xbox One exclusive game, which is apparently set during the ancient Roman Empire time period. The game will use the Xbox One controller but will have some kind of enhancements for the Kinect motion capture device. More details will be revealed during Microsoft's E3 2013 press conference on June 10th.

Other games that have been confirmed as Xbox One titles include Ubisoft's hacker-themed action game Watch Dogs, and Bungie has also announced that it's sci-fi shooter Destiny will be coming to the Xbox One as well. In addition, Microsoft Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer told Polygon that we can expect an "historic IP" from developer Rare to be released for the Xbox One but details will have to wait until E3 2013.

We already knew about Ryse it was supposed to be a 360 Kinect game. Forza 5 was expected, EA multiplats and COD do not differentiate yourself from the competition. I wouldnt use this meager list to troll complaints. It makes you look foolish.

EDIT: oh and we now know one of these other exclusives MS are bringing to E3. Xbox Fitness :|

What about Quantum Break? What about waiting for E3 to see what RARE demo and also Lionhead?
What about that new exclusive game from Black Tusk software. Microsoft said that there are 15 exclusive games for the year and 8 of them are new IP's.

So, the only ones that looks foolish is the people crying like babies... What about the games! Yeah, the Internet is made for the lowest common denominator when it comes to people. It's the bottom of the barrel folks.

Sure... Except you are the minority here with that thought. You are free to keep your [rude] negative opinion to yourself.

I hope the historic Rare IP is either Killer Instinct or a proper Banjo Kazooie game. Hopefully it wont be "Kinectified". Knowing Rare recently though. It will be and it will be disappointing.

Given both of those two studios track record recently I wouldnt expect much. 15 exclusives with 8 new ips. We now know one will be a Kinect fitness game. How many others will be Kinect mini games/casual focused? Im so excited for a new Kinect Joyride.
