65% of the British 'don't wash sex toys after every use'

Recommended Posts

Nearly two in three adults in Britain have admitted to not always washing their sex toys after use.

The poll, conducted by Peepd.com, found that only 35% of 1,736 respondents cleaned their toys every single time they were done with them.

Meanwhile, 53% said that they washed them 'regularly' with 12% answering that they never clean them.

28% of Britons polled owned at least one adult toy, with women (39%) more likely to be in possession of one than men (17%).

Peepd.com co-founder Louise Upson said: "Finding out that the majority of the public fail to wash their adult toys after using them is shocking and actually quite worrying given the risk of bacterial infection.

"We would never want to discourage people from enjoying adult toys, but cleaning them regularly would definitely be recommended!"

That's disgusting...I was clearing a house once for someone that had passed away. Under the bed, was a box full of sex toys. When the box was opened, most of them had like dark green spots all over em lol.

Common fact, they don't brush they're teeth...

That's not a fact, it's a silly stereotype pushed by films & TV. It's like saying it's a fact that all Americans are morbidly obese and uneducated...

It's also their... not they're and certainly not they are.

They're just silly stereotypes.

Infact if you were actually bothered about the facts you'd see the UK is on par and surpassing some neighbouring countries in the EU and the US.
