Arrow (Season 2)

Recommended Posts

Via his official Twitter, Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim announced what was supposed to be a "special announcement" of episode 19 of season 2 is titled "The Man Under the Hood."

While normally this title would seem to be referring to Oliver, we've been given some hints that it might be something more. A few months ago, star Stephen Amell gave us a series of teasers, including "Oliver isn't the first vigilante" and "Not all hoods are green." With episode twenty being titled "Seeing Red," I believe Batman frenemy Red Hood might be making an aappearance, which is possible if that is indeed Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad teaser.

2 Guest Stars Announced

Danielle Panabaker - Caitlin Snow

Carlos Valdez - Cisco Ramon

That Red Hood bit would be odd though since Harley Quinn became who she is thanks to the Joker. And that happened quite some time after the Joker was Red Hood.

I see Harley happening this week but not Red Hood, to much of a jump

Yeah, same here. But Red Hood just doesn't chronologically fit in so it's odd that they're mentioning him.

If you're going to use Batman mainstays in this thing the least you could do is not screw up their origin stories.  Heck, do what you will with the main Arrow characters but lets not messup everything else in the DC universe.  But who am I kidding, all you have to do is look at Smallville to see they don't care at all.

That last episode -- 3x16, Suicide Squad -- was a bit of a waste IMO, felt like a filler, because they did not have the story depth to carry things over from the previous one. Considering that this season there are 21 episodes as opposed to 23 from the last one, needing filler episodes is a bit shoddy and I hope that they get their act together.

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/movienewsandreviews/news/?a=96644 (SPOILER SPOILERY)

For those who dont like clicking links:

"Slade Wilson actor Manu Bennett gave away a minor season 3 spoiler for The CW's Arrow at Florida's Megacon. Namely, the identity of season 3's big bad - which should be somewhat obvious if you've been watching the show."

"By all accounts, Spartacus actor Manu Bennett was a charming panel guest at Florida's Megacon this past weekend. He recounted humorous stories about landing his role as Slade Wilson on The CW's Arrow (apparently he "accidentally" choked out a script reader during his audition) and told fans that he'd like to do more of his own stunts on the show but Canada has a union for stunt performers, so he doesn't get to perform as many as he'd like. That duty goes to his stunt double, James Michaelopoulos. However, the most interesting question of the panel was from a fan, who asked whether Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke survives his inevitable showdown with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and whether there's a chance he survives and then returns next season to team up with Arrow season one big bad, Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman)? Bennett revealed that the script for the season finale hasn't been written yet so he doesn't know how things shake out between Slade and Oliver but Bennett reportedly confirmed that Malcolm Merlyn will indeed be back and hinted strongly that he'll be the main antagonist for season 3 of Arrow. Not too much of a spoiler as we saw Merlyn return earlier in season 2 but he's since backed away from Moira Queen (Susanna Thompson) and the rest of the Queen family at the mere mention of Ra's Al Ghul's name."

So much for the whole "hidden identity" aspect of this show, just let everyone know.
