Error 0xC004F074 KMS Activation Windows 8

My Windows 7 machines have been fine all year, as are my Office 2010 installation.

 

My Win8 Pro/Ent installations are NOT activating.

 

It's running on Server 2008R2.  There is an update for it to activate Win8 and Server 2012, and that update is installed.

 

When I run slmgr.vbs /dlv is shows a 2012 volume Key C Channel

 

When I run slmgr.vbx /ato I get Error:0xC004F074

 

I can ping the server from the client using the URL I use to register.

 

My Win7 machines are STILL activating just fine.

 

Should I just move KMS to Server 2012 box and be done?

All KMS v5 servers will need to add KMS v6 support specifically for Windows 8.1 and Server 2012R2 (and for Office 2013 installed on both) - it does not affect Windows 8 or earlier, or Office 2013 installed on Windows 8 or earlier (or Server 2012).
